Outreach Everywhere, Everyone, Everyday.
The heart behind local outreach at New Life is to train up a people that live outreach by extending the love of Jesus to those we encounter on a daily basis. We will sometimes plan large events to bring the gospel together to the community but our hope is that we all become lights to our community and be a giver of the gospel every day.
Hope Stockings are given to families in our congregation that could use a little extra at Christmas time.
Action: Purchase gift cards in increments of $25 and turn them in to the Ministry Center Counter by Wednesday, December 13th or give in the offering and designate your gift for “Hope Stockings.”
The Storehouse Furniture delivery
New Life has received two shipping containers packed with furniture to bless our community. On Saturday, December 16th at 9am we will meet at the church and deliver furniture to those in need. What a tremendous blessing to be able to give a home furniture at Christmas time. We will need as many men, trucks, and trailers as we can get.
Action: You can sign up to help deliver furniture by clicking the button below. Please let us know if you have a truck or trailer that is available. You can also sign up to buy or make some Christmas goodies to give to each home that we deliver furniture to.
If you have a need for furniture or know of someone in need please full out a Furniture Needs card at The Source.
Men’s Prison Ministry
The Men’s Prison Ministry has ministered to men weekly in the jail and local prisons for over 20 years. In recent years, they have been teaching the Authentic Manhood Bible Study with tremendous results. In support of these results, the State of Florida has asked for the team to take on more facilities and teaching times. In order for them to do this they need more volunteer teachers and resources to continue to purchase the Authentic Manhood workbook for each prisoner. This Christmas season we are asking our church family to get behind our Men’s Prison Ministry that is out delivering the gospel weekly to the most broken in our city.
Action: If you would like to become a volunteer teacher with the Men’s Prison Ministry, you need to complete a pledge interest card. You can turn in the card at the Ministry Center Counter. The team will reach out to you once they have received your information
We are also asking for financial contributions towards purchasing the $10 workbook for the prisoners. The team needs 300 books every month. If you would like to contribute please designate your gift to “Prison Ministry.” For more information, please contact Jinny Waski at firstname.lastname@example.org
