Destiny Unlimited (Singles)

Destiny Unlimited is a ministry to single adults (age 30 and up), single parent families, dating and engaged couples.

The Single Adult Ministry of New Life provides opportunities for single adults and their families to meet in a non-threatening environment, where they can make new friends and renew old friendships without the pressure of feeling they need to be married or dating. In addition, this ministry provides an opportunity to address issues that are specific to their circumstances. We are not isolationists and encourage single adults and their families to participate in all areas of the church, engage in friendships with other families, and to volunteer and lead areas of ministry within and outside of the church.

There are several large gatherings.  Every month there is a meeting designed to enable single adults to make friends.  Join other single adults for these multimedia interactive presentations around various themes pertinent to single adults and their families.  Another monthly event is our luncheon.  Join other single adults following the morning service for a home cooked meal.  In addition to these large gatherings, there are monthly social activities, weekly home group meetings, Sunday School, single parent family socials, retreats, mission trips, and individual growth and development via targeted workshops and seminars. Come join us for some great fun and ministry.   Single adults ages 18-30 are encouraged to join “The Station” College and Career Ministry.

Dating and Engaged Couples are encouraged to maintain their friendships with others by attending events for single adults and married couples.  In addition, courses are offered from time to time to guide you into a successful marriage.

The Single Adult Ministry at New Life was birthed in 1992 as part of Pastor Paul and Sharon Zink's vision to bring the life-changing power of Jesus Christ to the lives of this growing population of adults and families.

Friday Night Live
Join Destiny Unlimited, New Life's Singles Ministry, on the third Friday of every month for fun and fellowship. We meet in the New Life Gym @ 7:30PM. Childcare is provided up to 6th grade. We hope to see you there!

MINISTER PROFILE
Pastor David Wheeler serves as Associate Pastor at New Life and is the Ministry Coordinator for Community Life Groups (small group ministry) and the Volunteer Human Resources Department. In addition, he provides oversight to Sunday School, the Leadership Equipping Track and the Hospitality Ministry. Pastor Dave’s wife, Patty Co-Pastors with him to coordinate the Single Adult Ministry. Combined they represent over 30 years of ministry experience and are recognized nationally for their ministry efforts to single adults, single-parent families, and dating and engaged couples. They have spoken at local, regional, and national conferences for single adults and ministry leaders and have published a number of articles in those same venues. Their marriage (in 1995) is a product of the Single Adult Ministry at New Life and they have three children, Kristen, Grace, and Samuel.
