Our children’s ministry is growing, and we need extra helping hands who are willing to serve these blessings from the Lord. We invite you to take part in our training to get involved in Little Life! The Little Life Servant Leader Training is for current Little Life volunteers who want additional training, and anyone interested in becoming a volunteer. The meeting will be Sunday, March 26th at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Loria for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you there!
The Command Center is where 1st through 5th graders will have an interactive service designed specifically for them. This is where we receive our commands from God to change our world for generations to come. As you step inside the room you are actually stepping into a super computer! So you never know who or what may be downloaded into the service! So hold on to your seats because you just never know what to expect, anything can happen!
Little Life is for children from birth to kindergarten. In our littles’ area we teach them how BIG our God is! Our goal is to provide a loving and safe environment for each child to learn and grow in Him! Our desire is to introduce them to Jesus at the earliest age possible! We believe that even as infants we can begin to teach them who Jesus is, leading them to a lifelong love of Christ.
Connecting with Him, Learning His Commands, and Raising Up the Next Generation – Psalm 78:1-7
Kevin and Megan met while attending church together in Southaven, Mississippi, and shortly thereafter began serving together in children’s ministry. Kevin, the son of a children’s pastor, already had a passion for seeing kids’ lives changed by the love of God. With some convincing Megan agreed to check out the children’s area and immediately realized this was where God intended for her to be. Kevin and Megan’s desire is for children to come to know the Lord at the earliest age possible, and to partner with parents to build a foundation for their kids on the Word of God.

Nursery and Preschool FAQ
How do I check my child into class?
When you arrive at New Life, simply follow the signs that lead to the Kid Life Foyer, or ask a Welcome Host at the Welcome Center to show you. Once you’re at the check-in station, you will be asked for the name and age of your child. They will inform you of your child’s room number and answer any questions you may have. You will be given a set of stickers; one goes on your child’s back and one you keep. You will be asked to show your copy of the sticker upon picking up your child.
Can I sit with my child?
Yes! We encourage you to join us and be a part of what your child is experiencing during their service times.
Do you have security in place?
Absolutely. The nursery/preschool is a secure area; meaning only authorized leaders and parents/guardians with a sticker are permitted. For additional safety, we have a highly trained security team stationed throughout the Kid Life area.
Once in service, how will I be contacted if my child needs my attention?
Each child is issued a page code at check-in on their sticker. This page code will appear on the monitor under the side screens in the Sanctuary should we need you.
Can I check on my child during service?
Absolutely! You can drop by your child’s class anytime. As a security measure, you will need your child’s sticker to enter the hall.
Do you serve food and/or drinks?
We provide a light snack on Sunday morning, such as Goldfish with water, for ages 2 +. Children younger than 2 are given parent packed snacks and drinks. Please notify a leader if there are any allergy or diet concerns for your child.
What is your policy for ill children?
As a general rule, if children are ill or still recovering from an illness, they are not directed into the nursery/preschool area. If a child has a runny nose, fresh cold, fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other symptoms of illness they would be classified as ill. We appreciate parent cooperation in keeping all of the children as healthy as possible.
Do you have a nursing mother’s room?
Yes. It is located through the infant room in the nursery/preschool hall. Nursing mothers are free to come and go as needed. We welcome you!
